Yazd Building and Urban Development Vocational College was established in 1986 with the title of Technical and Engineering Training Center affiliated to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development with the objective of training professional labor force and employee trainings for the ministry and with the permission of the Organization of Administrative Affairs and Recruitment of the country for undergraduate degrees in majors of Installation and Building and for B.S degrees in majors of Buildings and Urban Affairs tries to train efficient labor force for the ministry.
The center was transferred to Training and Research Institute of Building and Urban Development in 1996 and retitled to Vocational Training Center of Building and Urban Development under supervision of University of Vocational Trainings with the objective of training technical labor force commenced its activities in three technical departments of Architecture, Urban Development and Civil.
Then, in September 2012, the High Council of Administrative Affairs approved the transfer of the training center to BHRC.
Developing scientific and competency of labor force in the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, companies and engineers in the fields of architecture and urban development, rehabilitation of dilapidated patterns and housing;
Student admission for degrees of undergraduate and B.S approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in technical majors required for professional labor force for the ministry of Roads and Urban Development in the fields of rehabilitation of dilapidated patterns and such with suitable training structure.
Training profession labor force and employee training of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development;
Training undergraduates and B.S students and enhancing the knowledge of architectures with official university degrees from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology;
Implementing professional skills in the fields of roads, housing and urban development.
